About Rii Swim
Rii Swim is an eco-luxe swimwear brand based in Hong Kong. With a strong ethos of sustainability, Rii Swim uses only luxurious and highly durable Italian Carvico Vita ECONYL® fabric, which is made of 100% recycled post-consumer waste. This fabric is:
* Chlorine resistant
* Sunscreen and tanning oil resistant
* Able to retain shape and colour
* Anti-piling
* UV protective
Each suit is produced in small batches, allowing for greater quality control and minimal waste of excess goods.
Vision
Our concept started from a lack of environmentally-friendly and luxurious swimsuits in Hong Kong. Scouring swimsuit after swimsuit, nothing was ever just right - fit, coverage, material, or values. After leaving the corporate world, founder Ellie Furuya envisioned a brand in which swimwear would have all of this and more, so that consumers could save the environment, one swimsuit at a time. Using the sustainable Carvico Vita fabric, Furuya designed classic styles that could be worn anywhere and at any time.
